Your impact as a Medical Laboratory Technician, is vital. Operating within a highly regulatory environment, you will contribute to Vitalant's life saving mission by performing laboratory tasks in our Transfusion Services laboratory.
What to Expect:
This position may cover the following hospitals: Meadville, Horizon Greenville, Horizon Shenango, Gove City and Jameson
Schedule:
Varies-3 days /week work Day Shift. 2 Days/week work EVE shift. This role works e/o W/E EVE shift. Full Time - 5 days/week.
Training: Paid Training. 6 weeks Monday - Friday Day shift.

- Ensure accurate maintenance of data records and documentation.
- Perform high complexity testing including Antigen screens, antibody ID, and cross match.
- Answer questions from internal customers and hospital partners.
- Order reagents and other supplies.
Requirements
- Associates degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology required.
- MLT certification required or qualification for CLIA High Complexity required.
- One year of laboratory experience required
- or
- MLT certification or Bachelors required without lab experience.
