Senior Accountant (Project Management)

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a vital role in preparing accurate financials, supporting leadership decisions with insightful analysis, and ensuring we remain audit- and operations-ready. What You'll Do:
Lead the monthly close process and checklist coordination.
Prepare and deliver timely, professional monthly financial statements.
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger; prepare both recurring and non-routine journal entries.
Identify discrepancies in financial data and escalate findings to leadership.
Generate borrowing base reports for banking partners.
Assist with the annual budgeting process, external financial reviews, and audits.
Analyze operational data to support department heads with reporting and insights.
Develop and maintain internal controls, process documentation, and accounting procedures.
Support system conversions and improvements in accounting software and reporting tools.
Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate data flow and team alignment.
What Experience You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
Minimum 2 years of financial accounting experience; 3-5 years preferred.
Strong working knowledge of GAAP, general ledger functions, and the close process.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables) and other standard office tools.
Experience with accounting systems and ERP software.
High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Proven ability to manage confidential information and operate independently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
