Pool Bar Chef (Food Services)
The Pool Bar Chef is responsible for prepping and preparing all food for Latitude 26 Pool Bar. Pool Bar chefs are expected to have a high level of customer service skills, as interacting with our members and guests in our open kitchen is a critical component to the position. This position is Part Time, with full-time hours during Season (Oct 1 - Apr 30) and part time hours in off season (May 1 - Sept 30).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
§ Prep all necessary food and menu items to ensure consistency and a quality product is being delivered.
§ Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as the financial success of the establishment
§ Ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation and service
§ Communicate ordering needs to management
§ Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS office, POS, excel, word, restaurant inventory system)
§ Credentials in health and safety training
§ Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area.
Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.
Technical and Physical Requirements
§ High school diploma or equivalent required
§ Minimum 3 years' restaurant kitchen experience preferred
§ Appropriate culinary training and certifications preferred
§ ServeSafe certification preferred
§ Customer Service/Hospitality service preferred
§ Ability to stand for long periods of time
§ Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
§ Ability to lift 50 pounds
