L-Maintenance Mechanic-Shift (Maintenance)

The Shift Mechanic is responsible troubleshooting, assembling, installing and maintaining mechanical systems, machinery and equipment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
• Performance of all jobs must be conducted safely, efficiently and accurately.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains processes at an industrial level
• Performs work orders that comply with the maintenance schedule and addresses the plant needs
• Support predictive and preventative maintenance program
• Support internal projects
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce quality materials output that meet product specifications and quality system requirements
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows the Safety Cardinal Rules
• Performs any other assignments as directed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or GED equivalent.
Satisfactory completion of an apprenticeship program or 2 years' experience as a journeyman industrial mechanic.
