Machinist - Level 2

As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our machining processes. You will operate and maintain various machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Your expertise in machining will contribute to the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing operations.

You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the production process by ensuring the accurate and timely production of parts, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and maintain machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to produce precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Set up and adjust machines and tooling to ensure proper functioning
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the machining process
