JOB SUMMARY
This position requires high level attention to detail, excellent organizational, communication and administrative skills. In collaboration with the SURGE Program Manager, the SURGE Program Assistant will support continuing education activities in coordination with the Philadelphia Department of Public Health's Division of Substance Use Prevention and Harm Reduction (PDPH SUPHR) initiatives to increase access to Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) in primary care settings.

Work Environment: Standard office setting with some local travel to off-site meetings/training.
Position Type and Work Schedule: Non-exempt, full time position. Typical hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening or weekend training events. Flexible schedule options available with supervisor approval. Hybrid work-from-home schedule available with required 60% in-person work (6 out of every 10 days per pay period worked in-office).
Travel: Able to travel to training and meetings within Philadelphia, on public transportation and/or in own vehicle.
Physical Demands: Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Able to lift and move up to 15 pounds.
