Treasury Management Officer (Sales)

What You'll Do:
Provide leadership to Business Bankers and VP Commercial Loan Officers to achieve Royal Credit Union's treasury management objectives, strategic goals and initiatives. Partners with the VP-Business Lending Manager on shared responsibility for treasury portfolio growth and quality. Vet and prescreen all opportunities originated by the team to ensure requests match the department's goals and objectives. Assist in the development of new relationships and assist in the overall relationship management of assigned business deposit portfolio. Represent Royal Credit Union in the communities we serve in leadership roles as appropriate.


Our Commitment to You:

  • Compensation: $124,700.00-149,700.00 annually. (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

What's Needed For This Position:

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent in experience in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Five (5) years of Treasury Services Sales or related experience.
  • Must be bondable upon hire.
  • Valid Driver's License and insured vehicle.

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • Financial Expertise: Strong understanding of financial services, treasury products, and digital platforms; ability to analyze financial data and trends.
  • Sales & Relationship Management: Proven ability to identify and develop sales opportunities, build COI networks, and maintain quality Member relationships.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and work cross-functionally with internal teams.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Skilled in evaluating complex problems, making data-driven decisions, and implementing process improvements.
  • Technology & Compliance: Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital tools; knowledgeable in regulatory requirements and compliance standards.

We'd Love To See:

  • Previous experience in an informal leadership role involving mentorship of peers.
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation.

Location/Work Schedule:

  • We are open to this person working in Minnesota, but must live within our footprint.
  • This is a full-time exempt level position typically working Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM.  Occasional weekend and evening hours may be required.

Training:

  • Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
    • Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal's culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
