Project Controls Analyst - Gateway (Finance)

Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Controls Analyst to support one of the most iconic and consequential infrastructure initiatives in the United States - the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).

We are working in partnership with Parsons and Mace as part of the MPA Delivery Partner team, selected by the Gateway Development Commission to deliver this transformative project. The HTP is a critical component of the broader Gateway Program - one of the most ambitious and impactful transportation initiatives in the nation - and is designed to strengthen mobility, enhance resiliency, and ensure the long-term reliability of the Northeast Corridor.

The project encompasses the construction of a new, two-track rail tunnel beneath the Hudson River, along with the full rehabilitation of the existing 113-year-old North River Tunnel. This vital infrastructure supports more than 200,000 daily passengers via Amtrak and NJ TRANSIT and serves as a backbone for economic activity and connectivity between New York and New Jersey.

Role Accountabilities:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of project controls procedures, workflows, and tools across the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP).
• Assist in updating and maintaining project tracking systems, including the "lessons learned" register and master issues log.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and dashboards that monitor schedule, cost, risk, change, and document management performance.
• Provide quality assurance support for project controls data and reporting outputs, ensuring accuracy and consistency with GDC standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project controls activities are aligned with the HTP Project Management Plan (PMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in the configuration and use of the Project Management Information System (PMIS), supporting data entry, reporting, and access control.
• Assist in the coordination of updates to the HTP PMP and supporting plans as project activities evolve.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant internship or project experience will be considered.
• Entry-level experience or academic background in project controls, engineering, construction management, or a related field.

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Familiarity with project tracking tools and reporting systems.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with PMIS platforms is a plus.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $117,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
