Job Summary
The Dry Cask Storage Supervisor will be responsible for managing Fleet dry cask storage projects including DOE reimbursement support/validation, procedure document processing, engineering design coordination, customer/vendor interface, oversight of supplemental personnel, contract oversight, and adherence to project schedule/milestones.Job Description
Key Accountabilities
- Executes the Fleet's dry cask storage loading campaigns and ensures the appropriate resources for Vistra management oversight of contractors are provided as required during loading campaigns.
- Provides overall dry cask campaign planning, scheduling, and oversight for the Fleet.
- Ensures all dry cask storage ancillary equipment is tested and prepared for the campaign.
- Provides lessons learned to Manager, Dry Cask and industry user groups.
- Reviews cask vendor licensing documents for incorporation into Fleet Program.
- Maintain DCS procedures and engineering design documentation current IAW the Certificates of Compliance per 10 CFR Part 71, 10 CFR Part 72 and UFSAR.
- Evaluates, incorporates and maintains OE related to Dry Cask Storage projects.
- Supervises contract employees during dry cask storage campaign
- Travel to all four Vistra nuclear sites – 50% travel
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
- High School degree/equivalent required
- 10 or more years related nuclear experience
- Supervisor/Project experience with Dry Cask Storage projects
- Experience using scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera
- Experience/knowledge of Dry Cask Storage Systems
