What You'll Get to Do
The Material Handler 1 is focused on unloading materials from trucks and placing into designated holding areas, and reports to the Receiving Supervisor.
This role is perfect for an individual who is reliable, detail-focused, and comfortable working with tools and measurements in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. A vital member of the Receiving Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
- Unload materials from trucks, including metal, glass, and hardware
- Inspect materials for defects such as scratches, chips, or incorrect specifications
- Safely transport and organize materials in designated staging or storage areas
What We Are Looking For
- Basic computer skills for inventory and tracking tasks
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
- Comfortable wearing required safety gear (e.g., gloves, goggles, steel-toe boots)
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team
