Sales Execution Manager (Manufacturing)



The Sales Execution Manager is a key customer-facing leadership resource that supports the generation, creation and execution on key accounts. This position has direct reporting responsibility for project managers supporting key accounts. The Sales Execution Manager ultimately drives the efficient management of resources to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the overall display and packaging development process to ensure effective and efficient execution of projects
  • Provide leadership and coaching to all direct reports to set and achieve goals that are aligned with customer and company's strategic objectives
  • Develop key relationships with customer contacts and internal resources to support sales efforts
  • Understand customer key strategic objectives and effectively promote speed to market
  • Develop and manage processes and procedures to effectively transition new key business
  • Provide overall direction and assistance in the implementation of continuous improvement, utilizing Lean principles to establish, achieve, and maintain goals
  • Ensure visibility to key customers by providing on-site support as needed
  • Partners with cross-functional leaders to support continuous improvement initiatives, explore new business opportunities, and/or other projects to drive operational excellence
  • Maintains industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to design, implement and execute business processes and associated applications
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement effective strategies and activities that promote long-term customer loyalty
  • Knowledge of the major responsibilities, accountabilities, and organization of the customer support function or department
  • Familiarity with organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding customer interactions
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply key processes, practices, activities and tools associated with managing customer and internal requests

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience required
