Right of Way Designer (Project Management)

GPI is seeking a full-time Right of Way Designer to work within our New England Survey Team out of either our Wilmington, MA or Salem, NH offices. We are looking for motivated individuals to work on DOT projects as well as private sector projects.

Responsibilities:

Creating and editing CAD Drawings for Right of Way plans and Easement/Taking plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D (required) and OpenRoads Designer (preferred)
Ability to read and understand sketches, maps, deeds, plans, and other record drawings, and compile in a CAD drawing.
Ability to read and understand Civil/Highway/Bridge construction plans and evaluate construction impacts to private property outside of the public Right of Way.
Familiarity with MassDOT and NHDOT Right of Way processes and requirements is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with other New England State DOT Right of Way processes and requirements is a plus. This position provides an exceptional opportunity for career growth as the selected candidate will be exposed to a wide range of projects and responsibilities
Registry of Deeds research experience

Qualifications:

2+ years of Right of Way or Land Surveying experience required.
AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is required.
Basic computer skills

Familiarity with basic Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with Bluebeam is preferred but not required

EIT or LSIT a plus
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
